Why green tea?
Green tea or Miracle in the Mug is known to have the most amount of anti oxidants found in any other Tea. Green tea avoids any fermentation process which helps preserve its antioxidants and polyphenols, the two substances which are considered beneficial for the human body and prevent various diseases.
Green has the following benefits:
- it promotes weight loss,
- it keeps the cancer at low levels,
- it helps with Type 2 Diabetes,
- it keeps your skin glowing.
How much green tea do we need?
Drinking 1 or 2 cups of green tea is enough for a day but if you’re aiming at boosting your metabolism or weight loss, then it is recommended to drink 7 cups a day. And no more than 10 cups. But who would get up to prepare tea so many times! Since I’m a lazy ass I add my green tea bag in my EQUA water bottle and sip it through out the day, thus getting all the benefits while staying at my desk. Water bottle got empty? Refill it and put in another tea bag and drink it wherever or whenever you want. Sure you can grab bottled Lipton Green Tea which is pretty convenient too but you can't compare it with the natural alternative considering all the added preservatives and sugar too. And its cheaper!
Make sure to carry enough tea bags in your purse if you have a job which keeps you moving. You can always throw it in your water bottle and get the goodness of Green Tea.
