MyEqua App is designed as a digital mobile companion to EQUA Smart Water Bottle. The app recommends your daily water intake according to your body characteristics and lifestyle. It tracks your water intake and offers you an insight into your hydration habits and analytics. You can also control the frequency of glow reminders on the bottle that will remind you when you need a sip of water. With the tools provided a companion mobile app will help you keep close track of your hydration while enhancing your health & wellbeing.

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the App. We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information Collection And Use

While using the App, we ask iOS App users to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personal, identifiable information may include your name, surname and email. We also store hydration data (your drinking history) and some other logs connected with basic functionalities and security. Those logs may include IP, device information, and similar standard information (like time of request) which are all parts of communication protocols that are forming our “digital” world.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. The Company will keep personal data for the time of the operation of the App or until your account is deleted. Whichever comes first.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analytical purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Request for deletion of your information, or to obtain confirmation if and which data we hold about you can be requested at any time by sending an email to ask@myequa.com with the Subject line: “MyEqua App Personal Data Request”, with your first and last name and your login e-mail you’ve used to access the App. The request needs to be sent from the email address which was used to create your account at the App. Kindly note, we might need to verify your identity before responding to your request for your protection.

To dispose of personal data, we may delete it, anonymize it or take other appropriate steps. Data may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes for additional time.

Log Data

Like many App operators, we collect information that is generated whenever you use our App ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information on the time-stamped data you provide by using the App, the time spent using the App and other statistics. In addition, we may use third party services such as Parse Analytics that collect, monitor and analyse this data.


The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
